Brandy Semchuk: Head Coach

The Fresno Monsters are proud to have Brandy Semchuk as head coach of the Fresno Monsters' Western States Hockey League team.  Coach Semchuk is a Calgary, Alberta native that now calls Fresno home.

1988 -1990 Brandy was a member of the Canadian National Team program that was coached by Dave King. Coach King is universally acknowledged as the dean of advanced methodology for hockey systems.

In 1990 Brandy Semchuk was drafted by the L.A. Kings in the second round and 28th overall in the NHL entry draft. Brandy spent 4 years in the Kings' organization and was part of the Wayne Gretzky lead team that lost in the Stanley Cup Finals to the Montreal Canadians.

After a stint with the Fresno Falcons, Brandy took the Director of Hockey position with the San Jose Jr. Sharks where he coached the Midget AAA team. Presently Brandy holds the title of Director of Hockey for the Fresno Youth Hockey Club, The Fresno Jr. Falcons.
