FRESNO, CA -- The Fresno Monsters will be taking on the Ontario Avalanche starting tomorrow afternoon at Gateway Ice Center with a puck drop at 3pm. Fans, are encouraged to attend the games to gain a sneak peek at the newest Monsters as they rev up for the 2018-19' season.

How much are tickets?
$5 for the general public. Doesn't matter if you're a kid or an adult, it's five bucks. Unless you're 3 and under, then you can come in for free.
Do season ticket holders have to pay?
Nope. You're all set! Just let the people at the front desk know when you walk in that you are a beauty who happens to be a season ticket holder and they'll mark your name off to let you in for free. Keep in mind you only get free admission for as many tickets as you purchased. So if you bought 2 season tickets, you get 2 free admission tickets.
Do I have to pay for parking?
You don't have to pay a dime for parking. All we ask is that you keep in mind that our practice rink (Gateway) doesn't have the biggest parking lot of all time, so you might wanna show up like half hour early.
What time do doors open?
One hour before the puck drops, 2pm.
Is there a giveaway?
You betcha, bud! The first 300 people to show up tomorrow for the preseason games get a free "Go Monsters" cheer card.
How do I know if I'm in the first 300 people to get a cheer card?
Did you get a cheer card? If your answer is yes, then you were one the first 300 people in the rink.
Who are you guys playing?
The Ontario Avalanche. That's Ontario, CA.... not Ontario, Canada. Not as cool, we know.
Will there be food and beer?
We are very sad to say that there will not be food or beer offered at the preseason games. With that being said though.... If you wanna bring in some sandwiches and slam one in the back of the parking lot.....
Do these games count for anything?
These games do not affect our regular season at all. Preseason games are meant solely for the purpose of shaking off the rust. Both teams tryout some new strategies, test out new players, and see what adjustments need to be made before moving onto the regular season.
Is it cold at Gateway Ice Center?
Extremely cold.... Like Antarctica cold. Bring a sweater for sure. If you forget one though, it's no big thing as you can jump over to Gumper's Hockey Shop and pick up one those sweet Monster sweaters that even Kanye is jealous of.
Can I watch the games online?
Of course! Just head on over to Black Dog Hockey and you can stream the games at work. We're sure the boss won't mind. In fact, if they do.... have them call us and we'll cover for ya.
