FRESNO, CA -- Fresno Monsters Head Coach Cody Key announced this afternoon that Artem Verbenko will join the coaching staff as an Assistant Coach for the 2020-21 campaign.
"We were looking for a coach that was known for having a strong recruiting history, a current global recruiting network, and also someone who can teach the modern game," said Key.
After playing professional hockey in Ukraine and spending time in the Western States Hockey League for the Utah Outliers, Lake Tahoe Icemen, and Fresno Monsters, Verbenko joined the Bradford Rattlers staff in the Greater Metro Junior A Hockey League and assisted in scouting the Ukrainian region, as well as coaching hockey camps with Planet Hockey.
During the off-season, Artem helps training young athletes in Ukraine with off-season skills camps and is very well connected in Ukraine hockey.

This news really captures that electric feeling of a new season and fresh team energy. It reminds me how sports culture and iconic apparel often go hand-in-hand for fans. There's nothing quite like classic gear to show team spirit, like the timeless appeal of NBA Starter Jackets from that era.
