Fresno Monsters' front office has announced that Fresno will play host to the 2020 playoffs for the semi-final round of the Western Division.
The semi-final round will take place on March 13th and 14th at Gateway Ice Center. The opponent going up against Fresno has yet to be determined as the regular season ends this weekend throughout the league. Puck drop will be at 7:30pm.
Currently, Fresno leads the Western Division holding firm at 106pts but San Diego is not far behind sitting at only 96pts. If the Sabers were to upset the Rhinos this weekend and Fresno fall to the Thunderbirds, it could potentially drop the Monsters into second. But, feel rest assured that the Monsters are favored to hang on to their lead going into this weekend.
