Fresno, CA - The Fresno Monsters have named longtime broadcaster John English to take over as the Black Dog Hockey play-by-play announcer.
John is a lifelong Fresno resident and Fresno State grad. He has worked in broadcasting for the past decade at Valley Public Radio. In his spare time, he founded the Central California Sports Archive in 2014 to support his preservation efforts with regards to Valley sports history and artifacts. John has also worked with FHT Sports and the Fresno Hockey Hall of Fame as a consulting archivist.
