MONSTERS ADD MORE ARSENAL TO THE LOCKER ROOM Over the last week, Fresno stacked up their defense by signing former players Deakan Fielder and Jackson Bauml to the 2019-20' season. Both players proved their worth last year by racking up a combined 32 points and becoming a feared defensive line. Both players will start this weekend. They also signed a new goalie from Sweden, Sebastian Nilsson, who played for the DME Hockey Academy in the USPHL Premier.

KEYS TO THE GAME High Intensity: Multiple players cited a lapse in intensity after last Saturdays 5-2 loss to the Thunderbirds. Starting strong is key, but the ability to maintain that wave of energy can be the difference between wins and losses.

Smart Power Plays: Las Vegas had no shortage of shorthanded goals last weekend against Fresno. The Thunderbirds are willing to take risks on the penalty kill so the Monsters will need to be watchful and exploit any openings given to them.
