Pregame report: October 26, 2019

The Fresno Monsters are in Washington to take on the West Sound Admirals tonight at 7:30 p.m. PT at Bremerton Ice Center. Tune in on Black Dog Hockey and on Twitter for the action.

NOTES Tonight's game is the second of three tilts between the Fresno Monsters and Admirals this weekend.

Last night, Karlenzig got his second shutout of the season in only 4 games played. Markstedt got his first and second goal as a Monster. Baker & Aleksanyan cleaned up the rest of the game each getting one goal a piece. Dumoulin assisted of 3 of the 4 goals.

Leech and Bauml, have been making strong statements to opposing teams and the league that the Monsters are to be feared once on the ice. Last night was no different with Leech dropping the gloves not even five minutes in and dropping his opponent with a strong right hand. Bauml, on the other hand sent an opponent flying - literally - midway through the third.

KEYS TO THE GAME The Intimidation Game: The last four games have been nothing short of entertaining with the Monsters intimidating opposing teams physically. All four of the last games have had tilts fought with the Fresno black & green standing tall at the end. This style of play is iconic to Fresno and has been a key part to their recent success.

Keep Shooting: The Fresno Monsters ripped 48 shots on goal against West Sound. That kind of non-stop offense will help Fresno continue their winning streak.
