FRESNO, CA -- The Fresno Monsters announced today that hockey fans in the Fresno/Clovis area will get an opportunity to meet the Monsters of the upcoming 2018-19' season for the first time this season at Cary Park.

The Monsters along with FHT Sports & "Let the Kids Skate" will be putting on a free game of ball hockey at the Cary Park Rink this Saturday, Sept. 8th at 9:15am. The park is located at 4750 N. Fresno St Fresno, CA 93726. Hockey sticks, pucks, balls, water, and snacks will be provided to those who wish to join.

Fans, during the event will be able to meet, take photos, and get a chance to play some street/ball hockey against current Fresno Monsters players. Former Washington Capitol player and current Head Coach for the Monsters, Kevin Kaminski, will also be in attendance to meet with fans.

This event will help kickoff what hopes to be a revitalization of the game of street/ball hockey and help to bring new life to an aging park. After this Saturday FHT Sports will be hosting ball hockey at the Cary Park Rink, every Saturday until July 6, 2019.
