Monsters bring the flurry in game one against Southern Oregon

The Fresno Monsters (8-2-0) saw victory and snow in game one against Southern Oregon (0-4-0) with a final score of 8-1.

HOW IT WENT DOWN Fresno saw their first goal within two minutes of the initial puck drop with a goal by Antoine Dumoulin which was quickly followed by Nikita Eruslanov and Charles Duciaume.

The second period saw a flurry of goals from the Monsters as Breton, Bauml, Dumoulin (2nd goal of the night), and Eruslanov (2nd goal of the night) would all find the back of the net. But Southern Oregon would also find themselves on the board when Anton Svensson got a game misconduct halfway through the period putting the Monsters on a huge penalty kill.

Gomez would get the final goal of the night at 11:53 in the third.

LOOKING AHEAD Game 2 of the three-game series in Southern Oregon takes place today at 4:15 pm.
